3. Regulatory and registration information

We are not currently a regulated financial-services firm and the Service is not a payment institution, e-money issuer, or cryptoasset exchange in the technical sense of any UK or EU financial-services regulation. We operate as an e-commerce retailer that accepts cryptoasset payment for the goods we sell.

Registrations we hold (or are in the process of obtaining) — VAT number, Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) registration, Legal Entity Identifier (LEI), WEEE producer registration — are listed in the footer of the Service. Where a value is not yet shown it is because the registration is in progress.

4. Responsible for editorial content (verantwortlich i.S.d. §18 Abs. 2 MStV)

For the purposes of journalistic content published on the Service (for example, the editorial Blog), the person responsible is the director named in clause 1 above, contactable at the addresses set out in clause 2.

5. Consumer dispute resolution

We are not obliged to, and do not generally, participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, "VSBG").

6. Copyright

All content on the Service (text, images, illustrations, logos, page layouts, source code) is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property law and is owned by Specialist Electronics Ltd or by its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, modification or other use beyond the limits of applicable copyright law requires our prior written consent. Where content is identified as being made available under an open-source or open-content licence (for example, the Inter typeface), the terms of that licence apply.

7. Liability for content (Haftung für Inhalte)

Pursuant to §7(1) TMG we are responsible for our own content on the Service in accordance with general law. Pursuant to §§8 to 10 TMG we are not under an obligation to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that suggest unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; any liability in this regard arises only from the time at which we become aware of a concrete infringement. On becoming aware of any such infringement, we will remove the content concerned without delay.

8. Liability for links (Haftung für Links)

The Service contains links to external sites operated by third parties; we have no influence over the content of those sites. The respective provider or operator of a linked site is always responsible for its content. At the time of linking we reviewed the linked sites for possible legal violations and saw none. Permanent monitoring of the content of linked sites is not reasonable without specific evidence of an infringement. On becoming aware of any infringement, we will remove the link concerned without delay.
