Packed by hand
No 3PL warehouse, no slap-a-label-and-go. Every parcel is picked, unsealed, function-checked, resealed and weighed by a human before the carrier touches it.
Pick
A picker walks the aisle with a paper sheet, lifts the unit from its bin, and carries it to the inspection bench. Paper not screen — phones in the warehouse fail, and a paper backup keeps the operation going when a battery dies on a scanner.
The unit is checked against the Order line and the bin label before it leaves the aisle.
Inspect
At the bench the box is checked for transit damage and the seal for tampering. The serial number is photographed and logged. New units stay sealed; refurbs are unsealed for a function check and resealed in tamper-evident bags before going back to the picked queue.
For refurbs, the cosmetic grade on the listing has to match the unit under inspection light. If the unit comes up a grade lower than advertised, the picker pulls it and the inspector pulls the listing.
We would rather sell a Grade B unit honestly than a Grade A unit hopefully.
Pack
Original retail box goes inside a slightly larger corrugated outer. Void fill is recycled paper, never bubble wrap. Tape is paper-backed; the whole parcel is recyclable as one stream.
There is no printed marketing insert. The "thank you" lives in your welcome email and saves a sheet of paper per parcel.
Weigh, label, hand off
The parcel goes on the scale. If it does not weigh within 5g of the expected SKU weight, the workflow halts and a second inspector checks what is missing or extra. This catches both wrong-item picks and the occasional accessory the manufacturer forgot to include.
The carrier label prints from the picked weight, not from the SKU's nominal weight. Means: no surcharges for under-declared shipments, no unexpected admin fees at the destination.
Daily carrier pickup is at 3 PM local. Orders confirmed after that ship the next business day; the order page tells you the cut-off as you place the Order.
